How do I charge my SPM converted vehicle?
How do I charge my SPM converted vehicle?
Remove the waterproof chargeport cap and plug in the charger. Voltage will be self regulated and charging will cease at full charge. A standard wall outlet will work for charging.

Like the OEM vehicle you’re converting, our high voltage powertrain and battery are IP69K, meaning it’s fully waterproof. As far as submersion goes, you are fully protected, but please be aware that pressure washing seals or electrical connectors may cause damage, the same way it would to your OEM components.

Our conversion kit is designed to replace your internal combustion motor and gas tank, as a direct bolt-on modification. The stock wiring harness will be reused so your gages will maintain speedometer functionality. Switching from Park, reverse, neutral, low, and high will remain the same - using the stock shift lever. Our digital display will show you data from the high voltage battery and motor including remaining battery, estimated range, and voltage/current output.

Our conversion kit is designed to be more reliable than your stock powertrain, removing the risk of blowing a combustion engine or needing to replace CVT belts. Our motor tuning ensures smooth power delivery to stock transmissions as to maintain transmission reliability. We do not guarantee transmission reliability, but we provide a battery and motor warranty of 3,000 miles.

Installing a SPM conversion Kit can be performed by most skilled mechanics. We are in the process of creating extensive tutorials to ensure your conversion experience is as streamlined as possible.
